Free time may never truly feel free for those educators struggling with their workloads. The free-time activities they do choose depend on their personal preferences. Who would know themselves better, after all? Identifying the best ways to personally energize, refuel, and recharge is often one of the tougher parts for teachers. Ideally, selecting a balance and variety of self-care activities is best. Those that support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of a person. While some teachers may prefer to move their body, others may prefer to challenge their mental acuity. Whatever the case, finding the ways to practice self-care in such a way that brings pleasure, joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment is imperative for maintaining healthy balance within the workplace.
